Ruffles and Rainbows

How excited was I when she asked for a rainbow scarf? So much so I dropped everything and got started! (She's usually not into things I make)

And then her little friend started to show interest too. Oh smiling heart :)

Hooked on Cables

There is a Warm Up To Winter Knit Along going on over at Luvinthemommyhood. I decided to join in on the fun, picked up 2 skeins of Cascade sport weight yarn, and decided to make a hat.

Cables are a new knitting adventure for me and I'm really digging them. The pattern is a joy to knit. It's fun watching the cables and eyelets come about. I'm a little sad it's almost finished...

Done! Maybe I need another :)
